With just a few more weeks until the calendar flips to 2017, we thought now was a great time to check out some marketing predictions for the New Year. An article from Forbes shares a glimpse at 10 expected trends, starting with an added emphasis on enhancing the customer experience (who can go wrong with that?). It predicts more content developed in all formats, especially video, and added personalization across multiple touch points. Some advances in technology are projected as well, including further progress with the Internet of Things (IoT) and app-based chatbots. Another area with opportunity for improvement?
