Facebook is becoming an increasingly viable option for marketing products and services via ads with its affordability and ease of use. However, understanding if/when your ads will be displayed has been a bit of a mystery. Facebook released a blog post last week that gives advertisers some excellent information (including a video) about how the process works. Essentially, Facebook ads are given a score based on three criteria, and your ad competes in an “auction” against other ads for display. But how does your ad rank? To help take the guesswork out of maximizing your ad’s score, Facebook is introducing a new Ad Manager feature: Delivery Insights. This new tool “highlights suggestions for specific actions the advertiser can take to make their ad more competitive at auction.” Watch for this new tool to hit your Page over the next few weeks.
